We are looking for a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Northampton, starting in September 2024. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide support to pupils aged 7-11, helping to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting individual pupils and small groups in the classroom
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons
- Providing feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress
- Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with additional needs or who require extra support
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to their role
- A willingness to work as part of a team
