Location: Nottingham
Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Breaks: 20-minute paid break at 10:00 AM and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break at 1:00 PM
Role Overview: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Timber Yard Operative to join our team. This role involves working with timber products, calculating yields, and maintaining high standards in our yard operations. If you're confident with numbers and interested in gaining hands-on experience in the timber industry, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the selection and preparation of timber.
- Calculate yields and work with timber measurements.
- Maintain a clean and organized working area.
- Support in loading and unloading deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
What We Offer:

Starting Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour.

Attendance Bonus: After a successful 12-week period, you may qualify for a 6% attendance bonus, raising your wage to £12.12 per hour, provided you maintain 100% attendance.

Bonus Details: The bonus is earned weekly. Absences or lateness will affect that week's bonus, with exceptions for emergencies at the discretion of management.
