Job Title: PA (Business Development & Marketing)

Location: St Pauls

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Hybrid: 3 in, 2 from home

Contract lengths: 12 months

THE COMPANY

My client is an international law firm with people at its heart. Having been established for over 150 years, they have become experts in Private Capital law, and have a great reputation. THE ROLE

Duties include:

  • Providing an effective administrative service to the Director of BD & Marketing and Heads of teams and the wider team
  • Meeting scheduling and diary management
  • Providing necessary documentation in a timely, efficient way for internal and external meetings
  • Taking minutes of meetings, where necessary
  • Liaising with internal and external person/s for all meeting logistics including venue, attendance, refreshments and the distribution of materials
  • Managing travel including visas and itineraries, where applicable
  • Processing invoices, purchase orders and expense claims in a timely manner
  • Help prepare and administer Marketing budgets
  • Taking ownership and maintaining the BD & Marketing intranet pages, ensuring content is kept up to date
  • Assisting with ad hoc administration and providing support to major BD&M projects
  • Providing ad hoc support to firm events
  • Attending team meetings to share information and have clarity on future actions
  • Managing team social events
  • Creating PPT presentations to support internal meetings
  • Regular reporting, using various templates, on team activities and priorities
  • Track team deadlines and assist with delivery to tight timescales.
  • Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Standards and Regulations, and Principles.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with a team of high-achieving individuals who work in a pressured environment
  • Recognised appropriate qualifications or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proven secretarial and team assistant experience - minimum 1 year
  • Preferably experience of working in a large international organisation
  • Microsoft office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint (to intermediate level)
