The Job You'll Do;
- Support Operational performance meetings as required.
- Implementation of robust countermeasures to customer and operational concerns.
- Carry out productivity analysis to improve products and processes.
- Active involvement in the introduction of new products and manufacturing facilities.
- Regular participation in improvement activities, on existing facilities and equipment.
- Design, Manufacture and commission facility and fixture improvements.
About You;
- Experience working within fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
- Educated to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent.
- The capacity to work under own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge & familiarisation of Automotive Chassis products & processes used at Aycliffe plant.
- A detailed knowledge of machining processes, associated tooling in an automated environment.
- Proven experience in creating and modifying NC programmes using G & N Coding.
- Knowledge of planning, lead-times and costs to determine effects of changes to products and processes.
- Ability to organise personnel, products and processes to effective changes introduction.
- Fully versed and experienced in the safe working practices required in a production/automated environment.
