My client is currently seeking an experienced Solicitor or Litigation Executive to join their Dispute Resolution team on a fixed-term basis. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £55,000 per annum and is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work location. Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of professional negligence claims, ensuring adherence to processes and procedures while maintaining efficiency and proportionality.
  • Providing technical guidance to junior team members, including establishing work priorities and providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Identifying and managing legal and business risks associated with the caseload, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promoting the professional development of paralegal support by identifying training needs, providing coaching and mentoring, and encouraging pursuit of professional certifications.
  • Fostering a culture of teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing within the legal team.
  • Dealing with clients in a sensitive, professional, and competent manner, maintaining high standards of client service.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedure, preferably within a dispute resolution function.
  • Previous supervision experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment to achieve results.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with case management systems and databases.
  • Empathy and good listening skills, with a friendly and collaborative approach to clients and colleagues.
