Pay rate: £19.10

Are you a dedicated Physiotherapist passionate about transforming lives through innovative rehabilitation and personalised care?

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a dedicated Physiotherapist to join the therapies team at Stepping Hill Inpatients ward working as part of the rotational scheme in one of the following specialities: including Urgent Care, Critical Care, Surgical Wards and Speciality Medical Wards, Community Neuro, Adult Community Therapy, MSK Physiotherapy Outpatients, Inpatient Stroke team, Frailty, Discharge to Assess and Acute medical Unit.

Stockport offer a number of specialist services and play a key partnership role with Greater Manchester, Stockport and East Cheshire. With an annual budget of around £450 million we provide healthcare for residents in Stockport, East Cheshire and North Derbyshire as well as patients we treat from other boroughs in Greater Manchester who choose our services.

Main duties of the job

  • To perform advanced holistic triage and assessment of patients with multi-system symptom presentation associated with complex physical, emotional and psychological health
  • To develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme
  • To ensure patient care and planned therapeutic interventions are supported by available evidence base and experiential knowledge, and are in accordance with Code of Professional conduct.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a B5
  • Experience working with conditions with complex symptom presentations
