The position As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within the business, duties may include:
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets
- Preparing cost plans for construction projects, including concept design and design development
- Collaborating with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Monitoring project costs throughout the construction process
- Preparing and submitting progress payment applications and final accounts
- Maintaining project records and documentation
The candidate The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role gained within a consultancy environment.
- Pre and post contract experience.
- Knowledge and experience with JCT contracts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
