Location: London

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days visits in a week to location)

Job Type: Contract (7.5 months)

My client, who is one of the leading Telecom service providers in the UK, is looking for a 'Business Development Manager', focusing on "EV Charge". This is a contract postion for 7.5 months with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive business pipeline with Local Authorities, covering all stages from initial lead generation to contract acquisition. This includes developing propositions, fostering relationships, submitting framework applications, negotiating license agreements, and preparing bids for Local Authority concessions.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to evaluate and prioritize Local Authorities and potential sites using data models. Conduct remote surveys to validate findings and continuously refine the data model with new insights.
  • Formulate the Go-To-Market strategy for immediate site opportunities, incorporating regulatory compliance, partnerships, and engagement with Local Authorities and governmental bodies.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven background in managing EV charge points
  • Extensive experience in all facets of business development
  • Strategic commercial mindset
