SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded specialist school in Brent, seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Level 3 EYP SEND Teaching Assistant. Role Responsibilities
As a Level 3 EYP SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support a small group of children with Autism, offering both one-to-one and small group assistance to aid in their academic and social development.
- Implement individualised learning plans and Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring each child's specific needs are met effectively.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, creative lessons that cater to the students' unique learning styles.
- Help manage classroom behaviour, maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere that fosters learning.
- Collaborate with other TAs and support staff, ensuring cohesive and effective lesson delivery.
- Contribute to planning and assessment meetings, providing insights into student progress.
- Encourage students to participate in creative activities, such as Music, Drama, and the Arts, to enhance their learning experience.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Level 3 Early Years Professional (EYP) qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly Autism (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A creative approach to education, with a commitment to making learning accessible and engaging.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a nurturing school environment.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND, with a focus on personal and educational growth.
