We are recruiting for a freight operations clerk to deal with both imports and exports, if you are stronger in one then they will train you in the other.
They are a specialist freight forwarder and you will be dealing with all modes of transport for freight shipments, use of Cargowise, completing customs entries.
_Duties include: _
- Arrange deliveries & collections for import / export
- Update customers on shipments
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers
- Bookings with airlines
- Offering quotes and rates and liaising with senior management where required
- Experience in IPR / VAT / OPR & TIB shipments an advantage
Hours are Monday - Friday 09.00-17.30pm plus O/T
