Finance Lead – Early stage FinTech

Talentedge are proud to be partnering with an early stage FinTech startup on their first finance hire.
With a hugely impressive leadership team in place and being backed by Tier 1 investors, this is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join what City Analysts are predicting to be the next FinTech household name coming out of London!
Key responsibilities:
- Design and roll out key scalable processes, controls and systems
- In-house and build a robust finance infrastructure, ensuring all processes and controls are scalable
- Own the day-to-day finance function, including monthly Board pack preparation, statutory reporting, tax work and transactional finance (AP / AR etc)
- Lead on company FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering and KPI analysis
- Turn data generated into meaningful insights to support business decision making
- Drive future funding rounds
- Continually use technology to automate manual functions
- In time, recruit and mentor a superstar finance team
Profile:
- Qualified accountant
- Experience of working within a high growth FinTech or SaaS startup / scaleup
- Proven experience of building a finance function from scratch including processes, teams and systems
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel
- Xero + wider ecosystem of apps exposure
