Senior Lawyer - Adult Social Care/Team Leader
- Hourly Rate: Up to £70 per hour (via umbrella)
- Location: Hybrid working available
- Job Type: Full-time, 37 hours per week
We are seeking a Senior Lawyer with expertise in Adult Social Care (ASC) to lead our dedicated team. This role involves providing top-tier ASC advice and representation for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the Adult Social Care legal team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Handle a caseload of ASC legal matters, offering expert advice and representation to clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to provide integrated services.
- Keep abreast of legal developments in ASC and disseminate knowledge to the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with substantial post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in Adult Social Care law within a local authority context.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing or leading a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
