Your new role
A skilled operative to join the team in London looking after the Acton region in West London. The ideal candidate will have experience in general property maintenance and possess a diverse skill set to handle a variety of tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Performing general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
- Repair and maintain doors, windows, locks, and fixtures.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Handle repairs and maintenance tasks within allocated timeframes and budget constraints.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and fixtures as required.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure all work orders are completed accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas and tools.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and policies.
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance operative or similar role.
- Solid understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with both colleagues and clients.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform duties such as lifting heavy items and working at heights.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant vocational training or certification.
- Previous experience in property management or facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
