Our client are a leading distributor of Industrial Engineering Components, they supply high quality reliable parts from world leading manufacturers. They are seeking a reputable salesperson to join their team to deliver high levels of service to customers and suppliers, ensuring they are fully supported throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Respond to, prepare and submit quotations in line with customer deadlines, using email and telephone
- Proactive management of workload to ensure maximum conversion of quotations
- Develop & maintain relationships with site contacts and an understanding of their business and challenges
- Enter sales orders onto the company system
- Support & contribute to branch performance
- Carry out administrative tasks as requested by Manager in line with the company business procedures to maintain a smooth productive office
- Support face to face customer engagement where necessary
- Progressing supplier orders to meet customer delivery requirements
Key Challenges
- Managing a high workload through from receipt of enquiry to placement of purchase order
- Building and maintaining quality relationships both with team members and with key customer contacts

Skills and Experience Required
- Experience gained working within a customer service, sales or purchasing role
- Good understanding of Information Systems and proven ability in the use of M/S Office, SAGE would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Problem solver
