REED are recruiting a Finance Assistant for a Construction based company in Poole. This is a Fixed Term 12 Month Contract (initially to cover Maternity Leave). Please see details below

Finance Assistant

FIXED TERM CONTRACT (12 months maternity cover)

Full time office-based position

39 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 08.30am – 16.30pm / Friday 9am – 4pm)

COMPANY

Construction based specialist, looking for a Finance Assistant to join on a fixed term contract based in their Head Office in Poole, Dorset.

Duties:

  • To reconcile Bank statements
  • To process the supplier invoices & statements
  • To process payment runs
  • To process customer refunds
  • To maintain the assets register
  • To Maintain customer and supplier records

Essential:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience of working within an accounts department
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • AAT qualified/part qualified
