Overview:
Join a rapidly growing global space organization as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, where you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology. In this pivotal role, you will be integral to the product development lifecycle, focusing on the specification, design, and validation of advanced satellite communication products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the detailed design of circuits, including schematic capture, component selection, and simulation.
- Direct both in-house and third-party PCB layout design teams.
- Deliver high-quality manufacturing work packages for both prototypes and production products.
- Support the integration, validation, and qualification of hardware, software, and systems.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics or a related field.

Extensive commercial experience in hardware product design.

Proven experience in the development of satellite or payload equipment.

Expertise in designing complex, high-speed circuits on high-density, multi-layer (10+) PCBs.

Proficiency with circuit and PCB design and simulation tools such as Allegro, ADS, SiWave, HFSS, and CST.

Hands-on experience in designing products incorporating:

Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processors (DSP), FPGA, or ASIC.

High-speed digital interfaces (e.g., SerDes, ADC/DACs).

Power supplies and sensors.

RF design.

Knowledge or experience in:

High-reliability system design (e.g., Space, Military, Automotive).

DC/DC power supply design.
-
Verilog/VHDL for developing board/power/clock management components.

Developing ASIC prototyping systems using FPGAs.

Compliance with environmental, thermal, safety, and EMI/EMC standards.

Practical use of scripting languages such as Tcl, Python, and Perl.
