We are seeking a Works Planner to join our Maintenance Team, providing essential administrative support and ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. This role is perfect for someone with experience in housing repairs and maintenance, who excels in customer care and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handle repair enquiries and process work requests from tenants and internal customers.
  • Update and maintain database records, produce documents and standard letters.
  • Process work tickets for the in-house Housing Repairs and Maintenance Service.
  • Provide technical administrative support across the team.
  • Offer a high-quality administration, information, and liaison service to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Progress work orders and job tickets from receipt to closure and invoicing.
  • Resolve customer enquiries via telephone and in-person.
  • Provide technical administrative support to the professional surveying team, Team Leader, and Projects Team Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in housing repairs and maintenance.
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience in handling enquiries.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and updating records and databases.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
