Project Co-Ordinator

Location: Stevenage- 5 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE

Working hours: 8am-5pm (40hrs per week)

Salary £32,000 per annum

Role overview:

To provide effective assistance to the Project Managers in the delivery of projects and provide excellent communication and efficiency to the wider team. Our co-ordinators are given the platform to feel empowered to dictate the level of excellence delivered from our office. The co-ordinator duties will give you a great foundation to progress within the project/facilities management e­nvironment, if you are successful in your role.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaise with EMCOR Management to keep them informed of contract progress and issues that may affect the running of the contract.
  • Complete necessary paperwork to place order with suppliers and / or sub-contractors.
  • Investigate and resolve outstanding deliveries with suppliers.
  • Assist in the collation and issue of Contract variations as required.
  • Management and close supervision of the governance of project staff and sub-contractors.
  • Carry out Site Inductions, Toolbox Talks.
  • Knowledgeable and up to date in matters relating to Health and Safety and statutory requirements including CDM Regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Liaison with clients, EMCOR colleagues, and other service providers to facilitate projects.
  • Maintain accurate project administration files.
  • Preparation of Handover Packs, O&M Manuals and Change Controls.
  • Undertake online and face-to-face training courses, as required for the role.
  • Provide operational support as necessary to other parts of business.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested.
  • Responsible to keep smartsheet information up to date for all accounts under the remit of the Head of Projects & Lead Project Manager.
  • Assist in carrying out monthly contract reviews on individual projects, working closely with the PMs.
  • Prepare necessary information required for billing of completed jobs.
  • IMS documentation implementation and completion including quality plan, mobilisation delivery, commission and hand over.
  • Any other duties as requested by Site Lead or Projects Manager within reason

Who you'll be:

We are seeking someone ideally with experience gained within project finance although other skills will be considered

  • Thorough understanding of Project Delivery.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills - proficient communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Experience within similar role or transferable skills from related role.
  • Good IT skills - Excel, Powerpoint, Power Projects, Power BI, MS Projects, Visio.
  • Finance acumen.
