We are seeking applicants who share our passion and values for supporting young people. We are looking for candidates with enthusiasm, who are motivated to nurture and develop young people to achieve their goals.
You will also benefit from an excellent salary of £26,000 to £28,000 per year (Average 43 hours per week). Sleep ins to provide £3,000 to £4,000 extra per annum.
- We are seeking applicants who are able to work 2 days on 4 days off. Shifts are 9:30am-10pm with sleep ins.
- Average 43 hours per week
- It is desirable to hold a NVQ or Diploma level 3 or equivalent in working with children and young people or above.
- A full UK driving licence is mandatory for this role.
It is key to have a non-judgemental attitude, lead by example with a flexibility and an ability to adapt to a new working environment. It is also important to have an ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with a range of professionals verbally and also in writing.
The homes are single occupancy and consisteing normally of 2:1 staffing teams. The residential Support Worker role is a great chance to help make a difference to the lives of young people.
