Accounts Cashier

We are currently looking for an Accounts Cashier to manage our financial transactions with respect to banking, monitoring funds, and assisting with investment and hedge contracts. This role is critical and requires a high level of trust and responsibility, including mandatory annual Criminal Record Bureau and Credit Reference checks, as well as an annual declaration of good repute.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for the group.
- Process daily IBA payments using online banking systems, ensuring authorisation by relevant individuals and maintaining accurate transaction records.
- Distribute daily IBA receipts to executives and maintain corresponding records.
- Assist with the management of group bank accounts, including the opening of new accounts.
- Foster and maintain relationships with banking institutions to stay abreast of market developments and new financial products.
- Monitor group funds, including the management of investment deposits and hedge contracts.
- Ensure compliance with FCA rules in relation to client money bank accounts and assist with the Annual Bank Assessment for Board approval.
- Support currency management and review potential hedging strategies.
- Contribute to the firm's Business Continuity Plan with a focus on cashier considerations.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Cashier or similar financial role.
- Familiarity with FCA requirements and financial crime prevention procedures.
- Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High level of IT proficiency, particularly in Excel.
