Description
As Accounts Receivable Clerk, your key duties will include the following:
- Preparing and sending invoices to customers.
- Recording and posting customer payments.
- Ensuring customer accounts are accurate and resolving discrepancies.
- Following up on overdue payments and contacting customers for payment.
- Responding to customer inquiries about invoices and payments.
- Preparing regular reports on the status of accounts receivable.
- Maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Perform statement reconciliations and some bank reconciliations
- General ad-hoc tasks.
Profile
A successful applicant should hold the following:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience gained within Accounts Receivable
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven exposure within the Financial Services industry
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Immediately available or on a reduced notice period
