Horizon Teachers are working with a Primary school based in Greenwich, assisting in their search for a Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team on a long-term basis.

What will your responsibilities be?
- Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering effective and engaging lessons.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs.
- Assist with classroom and behaviour management.
- Prepare and set up lessons and activities.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the well-being and academic progress of pupils.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- A range of experience working with children aged between 4 11 years
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and show initiative.
