Our client, a dedicated youth charity, seeks committed Youth Workers to support young people in schools and communities at risk of exclusion, mental health issues, or serious youth violence. The role involves one-on-one mentoring, after-school activities, and holiday programmes.
You will work with young people across east London in a mixture of schools and community settings. You will be based accross Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge.
- Build trusting relationships, encouraging safe, positive choices.
- Improve attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.
- Create engaging workshops and activities.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, schools, and professionals.
- Provide relevant advice to young people.
- Maintain accurate records for funders.
