Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance controls and systems.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure the company's policies are updated accordingly.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage communication and reporting.
- Support the risk management team in identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification in compliance (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role within the banking or financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and EU financial regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
