We're delighted to be supporting Donaldson Group as they look to bring in a Marketing Executive.
This role is hybrid from their head office in Glenrothes (2 days on-site) with a little travel across other sites so own transport is required.
Your role:
Social Media Management & Activation
- Planning/creating social media content and maintaining channels
- Monitoring brand mentions/comments
- Researching and monitoring competitors, industry news and bodies
Email Marketing
- Producing and managing email campaigns which includes managing subscriber contact data in line with GDPR, drafting/uploading content and distributing email campaigns
Ecommerce
- Working collaboratively to improve site performance and provide a seamless shopping experience
- Overseeing site experience via testing web pages, user journeys, links, functionalities, and content pages through regular site sweeps
PR Support & Copywriting
- Drafting initial content for review for PR campaigns, news stories and social channels
- Identifying and resizing relevant imagery to support our content/PR plans
Website
- Updating content and imagery on websites, updating/creating product pages, blogs, etc (Full CMS training will be provided)
- Monitoring and reporting on Google analytics metrics
Events
- Planning and assisting with the execution of events including exhibitions and in-branch activities, ie open days.
- Researching relevant events and making recommendations on attendance
General
- Building and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Donaldson Group and family of businesses
- Liaising with agency partners and suppliers on multiple projects
- Supporting internal departments with any marketing requests and ensuring all materials are up to date
- Analysing and evaluating sales and marketing activity and reporting on ROI
We're looking for:
- An initial grounding within Marketing - a year or 2 under your belt
- A basic understanding of an ecommerce business
- Creativity and ideas - particularly across our social media channels
- Confidence and a willingness to learn
- The ability to work well independently as well as an involved member of the team
- Accessible to Glenrothes head office and access to own transport
