The successful candidate will be part of the Accounting & Finance team, based in Skelmersdale, providing support with various financial tasks.
Client Details
This business are rapidly growing and are well-known in their field. They are an award winning brand, looking for an Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger) on a full-time, permanent basis in their office in Skelmersdale with lots of scope to progress. This role is mainly geared to Sales Ledger but does require various transnational tasks.
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day sales ledger, including processing accurate sales invoices and proformas
- Updating invoice trackers and liaising with the production managers to ensure all invoicing is captured in a timely manner
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Processing purchase invoices for overheads
- Supporting with journals and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g. accruals/prepayments)
- General finance administration, e.g. ensuring filing is kept up-to-date
- Supporting the Finance Manager as needed
- Assisting our credit controller with credit control, e.g. sending statements of account, if needed
Description
The Accounts Assistant duties include:
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day sales ledger

- Supporting the Finance Manager as needed
- Assisting our credit controller with credit control and other transactional tasks.
