Finance Analyst (6 Months Fixed Term Contract) Glasgow Salary up to £35k (DOE) + Benefits
Lusona are delighted to be supporting our client within the service sector to source suitable applicants for the role of Finance Analyst on 6 Months Fixed Term Contract basis. Located in Glasgow City Centre, our client offers hybrid working arrangements.
You will collaborate as part of the wider time to enhance processes and systems within finance. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Business partnering with non-financial stakeholders.
- Contributing towards month end management accounts process via the use of NetSuite.
- Reviewing trend analysis and investigating any variances.
- Raising and approving bank payment transactions.
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries.
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc activities as and when required.
Applicants will ideally be a part qualified accountant, from a management accounting or assistant accountant background, with strong use of financial systems. In particular, it is imperative that applicants have previous experience of NetSuite. You will be comfortable working with large volumes of data, as well as reporting and forecasting models in finance systems. As such, you will have excellent Microsoft Excel and analytical skills. Applicants will enjoy working as part of a wider team, communicating with financial and non-financial stakeholders to drive improvements.
