Technical Business Development Manager

We are on the lookout for a skilled technical sales expert, located within Yorkshire, to expand our business footprint in the area.

About the Role

As a pivotal player at First Response Group, you will be instrumental in driving our future growth by securing new and lucrative contracts. Your responsibilities will encompass proactive sales initiatives, fostering relationships with our existing clients, engaging in competitive tendering, and capitalising on reactive opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Source and develop profitable new business across the south
  • Communication with existing and potential customers across the Regions.
  • Completion of tenders, PQQ's, RFI's etc.
  • Targeting clients across the private and public sector.
  • Effective networking with potential customers.
  • Timely and accurate completion of quotations and other paperwork.
  • Creating and maintaining an effective company sales database.
  • Achieving and exceed individual sales targets reporting directly to the Sales Manager.

Essential Skills

  • Technical Sales Experience - CCTV, Access Control
  • System Integration (SI) experience is essential
  • System design- CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms
  • Have excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Have strong IT skills to include Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Be a skilled negotiator with the experience and credibility to operate at senior levels, both internally and externally.
  • Have a flexible approach to travel throughout the regions.
