Senior Skills, Capability & Training Specialist – Cohort Leader - 39684 - £33.92/hr umbrella rate
Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Skills, Capability & Training Specialist - Cohort Leader in Gaydon. This automotive industry contract role comes with a umbrella rate of £33.92 per hour (Inside IR35).
As a Senior Skills, Capability & Training Specialist, you will ensure the consistent and efficient delivery of the company's Employee Development Apprenticeship programmes from apprentice induction through to successful completion. You will review and monitor progression against agreed plans and milestones providing support and guidance.
In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:
- Contribute to apprentice selection and contribute to apprentice on boarding and apprenticeship induction
- Support the development of apprentices during the off and on the job training to enable them to successfully complete their programme and become competent in their occupational role, and an effective contributor to our business operations
- Enable apprentices to develop new skills, knowledge and behaviours so that they can perform to their optimum and consistently deliver the company's strategic objectives
- Ensure all apprentices have a clear development pathway and the various forms of support required.
To apply for this Senior Skills, Capability & Training Specialist - Cohort Leader role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Proven track record in supporting the delivery of apprenticeship programmes or other complex learning and development activities
- Significant knowledge of content and assessment apprenticeship standards including 20% off the job criteria, On Programme requirements, Gateway and End Point Assessment planning and preparation
Highly developed mentoring/coaching skills
- A good understanding of academic and vocational qualifications, delivery and assessment approaches, including a thorough understanding of Functional Skills qualification requirements in Maths and English
- Comfortable using LMS/reporting systems to deploy learning curriculum, manage the progression of apprentices, build action plans, and keep relevant stakeholders informed.
