Job Role; Credit Control / Account Manager

With our Client we are looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller.

Based on the edge of Bury our Client is a Group of Companies that offer a range of Products and Services across Commerce and Industry and the Public Sector.
Reporting to the Credit Manager the role of the Credit Control / Account Manager will suit a professional / hands on character who can plan and manage their own workloads.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE CREDIT CONTROL / ACCOUNT MANAGER;

  • Basic Salary of c £29,000 - £32,000
  • Annual Salary Review and Performance Related Bonus

THE ROLE OF THE CREDIT CONTROL / ACCOUNT MANAGER - will include;

  • Solving problems that are preventing Payment
  • Daily work across the Sales Ledger function - working to apply agreed Collection / Payment Terms
  • Applying Credit Limits and Credit Checks on new Accounts
  • Credit Control by Telephone / Letter and Email
  • Process Payments - Debit / Credit Card / Cash and Cheque
  • Prepare Cash Floe Forecasts
  • Attend Credit / Debit Review meeting with Credit Manager and FD
