Interim Internal Auditor
Circa £500 per day (Outside IR35) + Travel Expenses
European role with office in the North East of England

I have a pending requirement for an interim internal auditor to support a growing multi-site business to drive standardisation of processes and documentation across many European entities. The business has enjoyed extremely fast growth but now needs to drive commonality to run optimally.
Initially you will support a fact find to discover how each entity currently operates. You will work under the UK & EU project leads who will define the baseline processes required by group. You will then be part of the team working within the entities to embed the new processes, document them and move them into a business as usual state.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate the effectiveness of internal controls across multiple sites.
- Identify and address gaps in current procedures.
- Produce policy documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensure a robustness to the project.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in internal auditing on an international basis.
- Strong understanding of internal controls
- Ability to identify procedural gaps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
