Our highly successful and established Client is looking to recruit an experienced customer service professional with a technical/engineering bias.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Business Development Manager and customer base
  • Support the portfolio of products at all levels of the market
  • Provision of the technical customer sales function and to be involved in the direct interaction with customers, handling queries and attending to customers specific requirements
  • Efficiently create quotations for the portfolio of products ensuring technical compatibility, commercial viability and regulatory conformance.
  • Technically evaluate incoming customer sales orders ensuring the product matches its intended purpose and use, and conforms to regulatory certification directives
  • Develop relationships with strategic accounts and suppliers
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Be proactive in the identification and investigation of customer complaints
  • Utilise the order management system to fully investigate specific customer orders (Sage 200 ERP)
  • Develop a working technical knowledge of the product portfolio and certification
  • Liaison and co-ordination with internal departments and other entities to ensure accurate technical information is delivered to the customer and internally to the shop floor.
  • Contribute to customer service levels and strive to continually improve those levels and associated processes.
  • Ensuring all work meets the appropriate standards and quality control criteria as set out by the company
  • Complete any other duties that may be reasonably requested

Person Specification:

  • Able to use the MS365 Suite of products
  • Experience and Knowledge of CAD (Not essential)
  • Previous experience within a similar technical customer service support role
  • Ability to work on own initiative
