Hours: 7am - 3pm, 4 Days a Week (Including Alternate Weekends)
Salary: Starting from £12.50 per hour (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

Howard Finley Care are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our clients caring team at a well-established care home in Ashford. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing nutritious, appetizing meals for their residents, ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking meals in line with residents' dietary requirements, including soft and textured diets.
- Following set menus while adding creativity and variety where possible.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Working as part of a team to ensure a smooth and efficient meal service.
- Assisting with menu planning and food ordering as needed.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent (essential).
- Previous experience working as a cook within a care home setting (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for providing high-quality meals with attention to presentation.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Working Hours:
- 7am - 3pm, 4 days per week, including alternative weekends.
- Rota details will be discussed during the interview process.
