We are working with a fantastic school in the Basingstoke district to source a dedicated individual to provide Classroom Support. The education provided want a candidate to join their staff in September 2024 on a full time basis in order to support their students facing struggles throughout their academic career.
Responsibilities of Classroom Support:
- Supporting students with various additional needs from 8:30 - 3:30
- Helping students maintain focus and motivation on lesson material
- Acting as a role model to students
- Being a safe space for students to express their feelings and find solutions
- Collaborate with class teacher to create engaging lesson plans and tasks
- Participate in team meetings regarding students' progress
- Full training for the role
Working as Classroom Support will mean providing children with guidance and support throughout the day, with the aim of building the students' confidence and independence. The school need Classroom Support to work alongside the Class Teacher and help the students reach their full potential in both academic and personal goals.
