I am currently seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work with me to support my lovely primary schools in Doncaster. I have fostered incredibly strong relationships with a wide number of schools across the area and I am looking to find individuals who can fit into a variety of school environments. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for education and a proven drive to contribute to student learning. The role offers flexibility with day-to-day supply work, perfect for those who are looking to start immediately or in September.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide classroom support to teachers across various primary school settings.
- Deliver small group sessions and occasionally lead whole-class learning under the direction of the class teacher.
- Support the development and implementation of individual education plans for students.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and learning environments.
- Contribute to the assessment of student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Adapt to different educational settings and work with a variety of age groups.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold proven HLTA qualifications recognised in UK schools.
- Demonstrable passion for education and a drive to make a difference in children's learning experiences.
- Flexibility to work on a day-to-day supply basis, adapting to different school environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
