As the Credit Policy & Governance Operation Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality outcomes and operational excellence in credit risk management operations. Working closely with the Director and Vice President of Regulatory and Policy Management, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Governance team.
What makes this role even more enticing is the flexibility it offers. You will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with the option to work from home for a majority of the time. Our client values work-life balance and understands the importance of a flexible work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
- Produce reports such as EMEA KRI, CD KPI, and other Management Information.
- Provide practical solutions to staff on applying credit policy and rules.
- Assess and challenge the design of management framework and reporting processes.
- Manage system change projects to improve various databases and systems.
- Conduct training sessions on the bank's Credit Risk Management Framework.
- Analyse risk events and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure written policies and procedures are in place with appropriate governance.
- Collaborate with various functions in the bank to identify and monitor controls.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of Credit Risk Policy, Rules, and Procedures.
- Relevant experience in the financial industry.
- Business level Japanese language proficiency.
- Excellent team player and communicator.
- Expertise in Microsoft Applications and deep SQL knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree.
