We are seeking to appoint a Senior QA / Quality Auditor to join the Technical team at this fast growing food manufacturer at their site near Alton.
Role & Responsibilities
Develop and ensure complete compliance with all food safety & quality standards - including HACCP, Legislation, ISO, BRC & Customer Codes of Practice.
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure site wide compliance.
Work with colleagues across all departments to ensure root cause analysis is undertaken - to facilitate continuous improvement projects and ways of working.
Assist with complaint investigations - to ensure appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken as well as assisting in the closure of audit non-conformances within the required timescales.
Perform hygiene checks to ensure standards are maintained.
Provide data for daily and monthly KPI reports and drive quality improvements across the site.
Ensuring the positive food safety culture across site.
About You
The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience.
Essential
Previous experience of working in a similar role in a fast-moving environment (preferably a food environment).
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work well within a team and on own initiative.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to find areas for improvement.
Problem solving skills.
Able to make and communicate decisions.
Desirable
Food Hygiene / HACCP qualification advantageous.
Understanding of food microbiology and allergens
Understanding of food labelling and food information regulation
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary, circa £30,000-35,000 (dependent on skills and experience) plus benefits.
