NEC Supervisor
The role is required to supervise enabling works and pre-construction mobilisation activities prior to the
start of the main works activities.
- Quality control: Checking that the contractor is following the Works Information, which is the project's blueprint
- Monitoring and assessing: Closely observing the construction process, conducting witness testing, and reviewing record drawings and operation and maintenance manuals
- Identifying issues: Preventing potential issues from occurring and managing any defects that do arise
- Ensuring compliance: Making sure the correct materials are used and to the correct standards
- Communication: Issuing communications as required by the contract
- Reporting: Producing reports as required and preparing a comprehensive post-construction review report for the client
- Decision making: Making decisions on problems and avoiding and resolving disputes
