My client is a sub ten million turnover business, located in Hinckley, recruiting for a Financial Controller to lead a small Finance department and help to grow the business.
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Managing a self-sufficient team of three
- Liaising with external auditors
- Presenting financial reports to the owner of the business providing insight and direction
- Establishing effective processes and controls to ensure integrity of the ledger
- Reviewing monthly and quarterly numbers
- Summarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to internal, senior stakeholders
- Instrumental in strategising for the business, working extremely closely with the owner of the business
The successful Financial Controller will have the following experience:
- Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Have worked in a small business previously
- Proven experience within a similar role
- Strong I.T Skills
- Been instrumental in a system implementation (advantageous)
As Financial Controller, you will be entitled to the following:
- £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
