Maintenance Operative

About the Role:
- Temporary position - 2 weeks, with the possibility of extension
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Hourly rate ranging from £12.00 to £12.75PH
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure buildings are kept in optimal condition
- Carry out repairs and troubleshoot issues as required
- Assist with general maintenance duties, including painting, carpentry, and plumbing
- Identify and report any potential risks or hazards
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve set goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in building maintenance or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
