Accounts Payable Assistant

Accounts Payable Assistant required for an going temporary opportunity working for a well established business based in West Bromwich, Birmingham.

This role is to start immediately, you must be available to start asap to be considered for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Day to day running of the Purchase Ledger
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Deal with any invoice queries and resolve discrepancies on supplier accounts
  • Collating payment spreadsheet for authorisation
  • Processing payments by BACS
  • Sending out remittances
  • Reconcile supplier accounts
  • Respond to supplier queries and requests for information
  • Cash allocations
  • Invoice raising

Key Requirements :

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable role preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Excellent data entry and organisational skills
