Document Controller

Your new company
Working for a construction company who are currently assisting with work in a local prison. Initially, the role would be based in the EX5 area of Exeter until October, but would soon be moved to Channings Wood Prison in Newton Abbot.
Initially, it will be 5 days in the office for training, but with the view to being 2 days on site - 3 working from home.
The role is expected to last around 6 months but could be extended.
The successful candidate will need to be BPSS cleared prior to starting and be happy to undertake a basic DBS check.
The role is paying £17.23 per hour PAYE or has a UMBRELLA date rate of £180 per day. Monday-Friday-8 hours per day.

Your new role

  • Creating document templates
  • Converting information from project teams into user-friendly documents
  • Numbering and labelling documents for identification and reference
  • Scanning, copying and distributing documents to project team members and stakeholders
  • Tracking documents to maintain confidentiality
  • Reviewing documents and making revisions for accuracy
  • Liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements
  • Training document specialists and other employees on document systems
