This is hands on ‘on the tools' leadership role and a key position for the business. If you have commercial or domestic electrical experience, commercial or domestic plumbing experience, carpentry background or, even better, a mix of all three! Then we would love to hear from you.
Alongside the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of this high-profile Manufacturing business key areas for the Maintenance Manager will be:
- Supervise and actively participate in hands-maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operations and maximum efficiency across the production areas and estate
- Establish and enforce correct policies for best practice, ensuring standards and insurance requirements
- Manage capacity requirements aligned with business needs
- Coordinate with contractors for timely execution of maintenance tasks, ensuring seamless implementation.
- Assume overall responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of internal and external environments, ensuring they meet safety standards
- Ensure staff, external contractors, buildings, and services comply with health and safety legislation.
Hours of work would be Monday to Friday usually with a degree of flexibility required in case of emergency.
