Success Recruit are currently working with a growing and dynamic organisation based in Central Essex who are looking to recruit a Property Administrator to join their growing family run business.

The successful Property Administrator will be responsible for liaising with clients and tenants across a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that exceptional high levels of service are delivered at all times.

The successful Property Administrator will be expected to:

  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Have previous experience with Excel and to have an understanding of basic formulas
  • Proactive in approach to work and problem solving

Job Specifics

Purpose of the role

The main purpose of the Property Administrator will be to maintain and organise all tenant and landlord information on a daily basis, acting as the first point of contact for enquiries. The successful Property Administrator will report to the various people within the business and will support across a wide range of tasks.

Duties to include but not limited to;

Use of Property Management Software to enable:

  • Updating and maintaining daily landlord and tenant correspondence
  • Arrange and recording Health & Safety checks and ensure all properties are compliant with legislations
  • Conducting inventory check lists as and when required
  • Arranging sub-contractor appointments, providing solutions to tenant issues
  • Processing weekly property invoices onto Xero through the property software (no Xero experience required).
  • Log maintenance and repair issues from property users
  • Co-ordinate records of maintenance history and ensure cyclical maintenance jobs and records are maintained and up to date
  • Preparation of tenancy agreements
  • Liaising with utility companies

Our client is looking for someone with good attention to detail, who is willing to learn and a strong team player. It is desirable for the successful candidate to have previous experience within the residential or commercial property industry.

Hours: Monday -Thursday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Salary: £16.00 per hour / 28 hours per week
