GI Group are working with a global leader in packaging & paper to find a Class 1 Driver to join their Sheffield team on a permanent basis.
Key Requirements include:
- HGV CLASS 1 License (No more than 6 points for minor speeding offences)
- Min 12 months experience HGV driving required
- Valid CPC and Tacho
The role:
- Rotating shift pattern (2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights)
- Monday to Friday: Days (£15 per hour)
- Sunday to Thursday: Nights (£19 per hour Sundays, £16 per hour Monday-Thursday)
- Days: 3/4 timed deliveries across the North of England
- Nights: Shunting between 2 sites (1 mile apart) and moving vehicles around the yard
Person Profile:
- Safety focused HGV Driver
- Customer Relations Focus
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and willing to work flexible hours
