Market Research Executive

An exciting opportunity to join the research and insights team to perform market research and data analysis. The Market Research Executive will be given an opportunity to work on market and customer research, specifically administrating, performing, designing market research, data analysis and report outputs.

The successful candidate will have an inquisitive mind, not take information at face value and be a problem solver willing to get stuck in to work collaboratively within a small team.

This role would be ideal for a recent graduate looking for an entry-level role in market research but equally, it would be ideal for someone with previous market research experience looking for a temporary opportunity in a varied, interesting role.

  • Location: Didcot, hybrid working available
  • Job type: 6 - 9 month contract
  • Working Hours: 9am - 5pm with an element of flexibility
  • Salary: Up to £24K - £30k (depending on experience)

As the Market Research Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Design and deliver research studies, data collection / interrogation methods, and reports which support business bench marking and improvement
  • Work with the team to provide and produce market, customer, and category insights
  • To perform numerical analyses on the business and third-party data

The successful Market Research Executive will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Degree level qualification in social sciences or equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use own initiative
  • Experience in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written English
  • A questioning, curious nature to get to the bottom of a business issue/problem and find evidence-based solutions
  • Driving license required due to location
