Reed.co.uk is looking for a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join their Delivery Team in Holborn, London.
The Senior Agile Delivery Manager will provide end to end project & programme management alongside the support of agile teams. It also includes line management of Agile Delivery Managers where applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Mentoring: Manage and develop Agile Delivery Managers through mentoring, coaching, performance evaluation, and career development.
- Support and Direction: Lead cross-disciplinary teams for strategic initiatives and support Agile Delivery Managers in their efforts.
- Strategic Planning: Align initiative delivery with business goals, create unified roadmaps with cross-departmental leads, and scope out new initiatives.
- Data Management: Ensure data accuracy in product and delivery tools by collaborating with cross-departmental leads.
- Team Support: Establish processes for successful initiative delivery, monitor KPIs, motivate teams, assign tasks, and facilitate refinement and prioritization sessions.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies & Decisions (RAIDD) promptly.
- Stakeholder Management: Regularly communicate with stakeholders, provide updates, and address concerns; report progress and highlight key risks/issues.
- Financial Management: Track costs and value for ROI, manage requisitions, POs, invoices, and recoup costs/credits when possible.
- Third-Party and Continuous Improvement: Oversee vendor contracts, manage RFPs and development partner relationships, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Skills and Experience
- Proven delivery and/or on-going management of digital products
- Delivery of projects within an Agile development framework including Scrum & Kanban
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum, Kanban techniques and artefacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Proven end-to-end delivery of web and mobile applications
- 5+ years in the field of agile project management
- Good understanding of the full-development cycle-including, feature sizing/estimation and team velocity reporting
- Experience in managing off-shore development teams and 3rd party suppliers
- Line management experience
- Experience in delivering complex strategic initiatives
