Reporting directly to the financial controller, this role offers a compelling opportunity to oversee junior legal cashiers and operate autonomously.
The ideal Senior Legal Cashier will be responsible for the following:
- Posting invoices, cash receipts, bank reconciliations
- Ensuring full compliance with SRA Accounting rules
- Regular review of internal controls relating to the processing of clients' funds
- Suggesting improvements to systems and procedures
- Ensure the team meets its objectives
The ideal Senior Legal Cashier will have the following:
- Supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of the Solicitor Accounts Rules and compliance
- Good attention to detail, good at problem-solving,
