Learning Mentor | Birmingham, B21 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024
Our partner Primary School in the Handsworth area is looking for a Learning Mentor that can make an impact in and out of the classroom, supporting students that require extra support to meet their learning objectives. This role is based at a mainstream Primary School, starting in September 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students working below age expected levels.
- Work with groups of students, or 1:1, to carry out interventions.
- Work alongside a hardworking team of staff, to provide invaluable support to students with SEN.
- Being a positive member of staff, promoting the school's values.
- Encourage active participation and engagement in learning.
- Using your creativity and imagination to excite the students.
The school's ideal candidate to:
- Hold a relevant TA qualification, or degree.
- Have experience working with children in a school.
- Have experience working with Special Educational Needs (desirable)
- Be enthusiastic about assisting children in overcoming obstacles and achieving their full potential.
