The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Leigh Academies Trust to recruit experienced and committed Teachers and Teaching Assistants for a range of roles starting in September 2025. Leigh Academy Milestone is part of the Leigh Academy Trust and is a proud school serving students aged 2-19 with Special Educational Needs. The academy is dedicated to providing a high-quality educational provision.
We're looking for professionals who are adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to support pupils across various primary and secondary SEN settings. Whether you're a qualified teacher or a teaching assistant, if you have SEN experience and are excited to work in a dynamic, inclusive environment, we want to hear from you!
**What We're Looking For:
- SEN experience is essential for all roles
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – for teaching roles
- Previous experience working with children in educational settings
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Minimum of two professional references covering the last two years
- A positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting learning
**Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver or support engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to individual needs
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure effective classroom management
- Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
- Support children in both classroom activities and during off-site experiences
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment for all learners
